Tenzin Drukdra Tours and Trek (TDTT) – Your Companion in Bhutan
The name of our company is derived from the second DrukDesi( 'brugsde-srid;) also called "Deb Raja"), Tenzin Drukdra. When ZhabdrungNgawangNamgyel (Zhabdrung Rinpoche) started the dual system of governance in the 17th century, government authority was divided among secular and religious administrations. Desis were secular leaders and Je Khenpos, religious. Desi Tenzin Drukda reigned from 1655 to 1667. He died in 1667.
There is always a reason for everything; just as there is for naming our venture Tenzin Drukdra Tours and Trek (TDTT). It is symbolic and reflects that we know our roots, our culture and what makes our country special. And these are the very elements that we would be providing our guests with.
Just as the Desi, whose objectives were to lead and serve the people, our aim is to provide the very best to our guestsand become a leader in the tourism industry. This may sound difficult but it is not impossible.
